Men's Basketball Uses Late Run To Down Lansing CC

Port Huron, MI – Lansing Community College came to town to take on the SC4 Men's basketball team at 7:00 pm on Wednesday (12/6).

The Stars kept it close most of the game, leading 59-54 with just over 10 minutes left, but the Skippers finished the game on a 36-7 run to pull away and win 90-66. The Skippers dominated the glass securing 51 rebounds over the 36 Lansing brought down. Isaiah Jones led all scorers with 19 points and hauled in 11 rebounds for the double-double. Tyler Hamilton scored 18 including a team leading 6 assists. Daquan Coleman scored 15, La'Tavius Vaughter scored 13 and Zaveon Little contributed 13 off the bench.

With this win the Skippers are 6-2 on the season and in the middle of a 6-game win streak after dropping the first two games of the season.

The Skippers will take the court at the SC4 Fieldhouse on Friday December 8 at 6:00 pm before they take a road trip then break for Christmas.
