Men's Cross Country Finishes 3rd, Qualifies for Nationals

Grand Rapids, MI - The SC4 men's cross country finsihed 3rd at the Region XII and MCCAA Championship on Saturday. The 9th ranked Skippers finished with 82 points as a team. The 3rd place finish was good enough for the team to qualify for the Division II NJCAA National Championship!

The team was led by freshman Glen Davis who ran a time of 25:46.9 which was good enough for a 3rd place finish. The next Skipper to cross the line was Matt LaFreniere who finished 13th and ran a 27:12.2. Michael Paoletti finished with a time of 28:01.7 (21st) followed by Logan Cooper who finished in 28:48.3 (30th) and Mason Wildie with a 29:20.7 (36th) to round out the point scorers. The last two Skippers to finish were Joe Edgemon who ran a PR of 30:56.0 (49th) and Devin Dudley at 33:22.1 (66th).

The Skippers will now get ready to compete at the NJCAA Division II National Championship at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama on November 11th.
