Alex (Shell) Amey is a Blue Water Area native, graduating from Port Huron Nothern. She began her playing career in 2007, working her way up through various travel teams. After high school, Amey continued onto SC4 where she was an integral part of the 2013 and 2014 teams, earning All-MCCAA honors and named team captain, and team M.V.P.
After graduation from SC4, Amey began working at New Life Christian Academy in their accounting office, and joined the coaching staff at SC4. Outside of volleyball, she and her husband Calvin enjoy spending time with family, friends, and their dog Luca.
