Courtney enters her first season as head coach of the Skippers in 2025-26.
She brings more than two decades of coaching experience to SC4, having started her career in the late 1990s with competitive travel teams. LaBuhn spent several years at Marine City High School, where she built a strong coaching résumé. She served as junior varsity coach from 2000 to 2004, 2010 to 2012, and again in 2016. From 2013 to 2015, she was promoted to assistant varsity coach before taking over as head varsity coach in 2017.
A native of Michigan, LaBuhn played collegiate softball at Madonna University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 1999.
