Port Huron, MI - The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) announced it's 2023-24 Golf All-Conference teams today (May 28) and the Skippers golf team found two members on the list! Sophomore Colin O'Dean was named to the MCCAA All-Eastern Conference team while Tyler Simpson added to his NJCAA Region 12 All-Region honors with an MCCAA All-Eastern Conference award. 

Colin O'Dean made an impressive run this season. He was consitently the Skippers top scorer, and led SC4 to a team victory in the Skippers Golf Invite by shooting a 76 and claiming the medalist. He then made it back to back medalists by shooting another 76 and earning co-medalist honors at the Marian University's Ancilla Spring invite. 

Tyler Simpson had a solid sophomore season for the Skippers which was capped off by a top 10 finish a the NJCAA Region 12 Golf Championship. Simpson's performance earned him NJCAA Region 12 All-Region honors.
