Port Huron, MI – The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) released its week 6 Player of the Week awards on Tuesday (Apr. 30).

Freshman utility Carley Kalbfleisch earned this week's MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Player of the Week award!

Kalbfleisch earned the award after a stellar week in which she played in 5 games and boasted a .556/.579/.667 slash line including 10 hits. She also added in 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. She is the first Skipper softball player to earn the award this season.

This week the Skippers play 4 games. The first today (Apr. 30) when they host Macomb Community College at Marysville City Park with the first game starting at 3:00 PM before wrapping up their season with a home double header against Mott Community College. First pitch for game one will be at 3:00 PM.
