Port Huron, MI – The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) announced its week 1 Player of the Week awards and SC4 sophomore volleyball player Piper Clark was named the eastern conference offensive player of the week.

Clark, who was named the Player of the Year in the conference last year, is continuing her dominance. The Skippers went 3-1 this weekend playing in the Opening Weekend Tournament at McHenry Community College. In those 4 games Piper did it all, tallying 48 kills (3 per set average) hitting .343, 74 assists (4.63 per set average), and 12 aces.

Clark will begin her quest for back-to-back POTW awards on Wednesday (Aug. 28) when the Skippers host a quad. Their game times will be 4:00 PM vs. Lake Michigan College and 7:30 PM vs. Lansing Community College.
