Myrtle Beach, SC - The Skippers took on Northampton Community College in South Carolina on Thursday, March 7th.

This game was all Northampton with an early score of 9-0 before the Skippers could answer in the bottom of the 5th. The Skippers were only able to tack on 6 while Northampton added 4 more with a final of 13-6. Hunter Filber went 2-4 as the leadoff batter knocking in a run as well as scoring one of his own. Carrinton Thomas went 1-3 with an RBI double and a walk scoring one of the Skippers' runs.

Jeff Preston was on the mound for the Skippers and was also the one to take the loss in this game going 2 innings and allowing 5 earned runs on 4 hits, 5 walks and a strikeout. Ryan Kloss came in in relief going 3 innings and 3 runs. Nolan Raymo finished off the final 2 innings of the game. His line was 3 earned runs on just 1 hit while striking out 1.

The Skippers will conclude their time in Myrtle Beach tomorrow March 8th with a game against Penn State York.
