Detroit, MI - The Skippers traveled to the Corner Ballpark for a home game against Schoolcraft College. Yes, you read that right. Due to field conditions the game was moved from Sanborn Park to Detroit but was still played as a home game for SC4.

Schoolcraft scored first putting up a run in both the 1st and 2nd innings before the Skippers responded with 2 runs in the bottom of the 4th. SC4 then gave the lead back, surrendering 3 runs to the Ocelots in the top of the ninth and weren't able to respond, ultimately losing 5-2. The Skippers had a total of 5 hits as well as 6 walks. Jonah Miranda and Carlo Corona scored both runs for SC4 while Kaden Kovach was responsible for hitting both of them in.

Oliver Lewis started for the Skippers. he went 4 innings allowing just 1 earned run on 3 hits, 4 walks, while striking out 6. Grant Bombe pitched in relief allowing 2 earned runs on 2 hits and 6 walks. he also struck out 7 over his 4.2 innings. Ryan Kloss finished off the game facing 2 batters, walking one and striking out the other.

The Skippers will next travel to Mott Community College on Thursday, March 29th for a single 9-inning game vs the Bears.
