January 8 the SC4 men lost to #1 ranked Mott Community College at home in overtime with a final score of 72-76. After trailing by 14 at the end of the first half, the Skips outscored the Bears 48-34 to force an overtime, but fell short in the extra minutes.

The Bear's Connor Bush and Josiah Hammons helped lead their team to an overtime victory. Bush who came off the bench scored 18 points and recovered 5 rebounds. Starter Hammons also had 5 rebounds as well as 13 points.

SC4 starters Chris Dobessi-Tindane, Omari Duncan, and Emmanuel Ndambi each had 2 steals and 1 block. Dobessi-Tindane led the team with a double-double scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. Duncan also put up 20 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Ndambi contributed another 15 points and also collected 6 rebounds.

After a close game with the #1 ranked team, SC4 is set to take on Wayne County at home on January 12. We are excited to fill the stands with fans for this next home game, so come out and support our basketball teams this Wednesday!
