Jackson, MI – The Skippers traveled to Jackson to start a string of 4 straight road games on Saturday (Jan. 20) as they took on the Jets of Jackson College
The Skippers played a close first half, clinging to a 7-point led at the break. After that it was all SC4. They had a big offensive second half to clinch a commanding 113-86 victory. Zaveon Little paced all scorers with 25 points, he also pulled down 13 boards for a double-double. Isaiah Jones added in 22 points and 7 rebounds while La'Tavius Vaughter was good for 19. Tyler Hamilton scored 17 points while also dishing out an impressive 13 assists for his own double-double. Off the bench Zahki Fallen scored 16.
With this win the Skippers move to 14-3 overall and 3-0 in the conference. They're riding a 6-game winning streak.
They will head to Macomb Community College to take on the 5th ranked Monarchs on Wednesday (Jan. 24) in a big conference game. They won't be home again until Saturday, February 3rd when the play Schoolcraft College at 3:00 PM.
