Dearborn, MI – The Skippers traveled to Henry Ford College to a matchup against the Hawks who were receiving votes in the most recent poll.

Neither team shot the ball well but the Hawks did just enough to come away with a 77-70 upset win over the Skippers

SC4 ended the game with 3 players with double figure scoring and 2 with rebounds. Isaiah Jones led all scorers in the game with 27 points and added in 10 rebounds for a double-double. Tyler Hamilton contributed 17 points to the Skippers effort while pulling down 5 boards. Zaveon Little also had a double-double scoring 11 and bringing down 10 rebounds.

After the loss the Skippers have slid to 16-4 and 5-1 in conference play. They still maintain a tie for first place in the MCCAA Eastern Conference.

The Skippers will look to bounce back on Saturday (Feb. 3). They play the Schoolcraft College Ocelots at the SC4 Fieldhouse, the game starts at 3:00 PM. That game is part of the MCCAA Hunger Games competition. Each fan can receive free admission into the game with the donation of a non-perishable good.
