Port Huron, MI – SC4 hosted Schoolcraft College (12-8 overall, 4-2 in conference) on Saturday (Feb. 3) looking to get back in the win column after a loss on Wednesday (Jan. 31).

It was a defensive affair with a halftime score of just 27-20. At the end of the game the Skippers got the job done winning 56-51.

Despite the low scoring game, SC4 still had three players reach double figures in the scoring column. La'Tavius Vaughter finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double he also blocked 5 shots. Zaveon Little also had a double-double, scoring 14 and bring down a game high 12 rebounds. To round out the Skippers in double figures, Tyler Hamilton scored 11 points with 6 assists. Isaiah Jones also pulled down 10 rebounds.

This win puts the Skippers at 17-4 overall with a 6-1 conference record. They keep their hands on the First-Place spot in the MCCAA Eastern Conference in a tie with Macomb Community College halfway through conference play.

SC4 will host Mott Community College this Wednesday (Feb. 7). The game will take place at the SC4 Fieldhouse and will tip off at 7:30 PM.
