Port Huron, MI – SC4 hosted Henry Ford College on Saturday (Feb. 24) as part of their sophomore day festivities.

The game was close for the entire 40 minutes. The Skippers would cling to a five-point halftime lead, heading to the locker rooms up 43-38. They would trail for parts of the second half before coming back and taking a one-point lead just under a minute left. Henry Ford would get a long rebound and fast break opportunity to take the lead until Isaiah Jones ran the court and made a huge game saving block and saved the rebound from going out of bounds. The Skippers would hold on to win 82-77.

Tyler Hamilton led all scorers with 19 points, 4 boards, and 5 assists. Isaiah Jones added in 17 with 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Zaveon Little scored 14 to go with his 9 rebounds. Off the bench Zahki Fallen was good for 10 more points and 5 assists.

This win moves the Skippers to 21-6 and 10-3 in the conference. They have also clinched second place in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Eastern Conference.

SC4 will travel to Schoolcraft College on Tuesday (Feb. 27) to wrap up their regular season. It will be a 7:30 PM tip following the lady's game.
