Danville, IL – The Skippers were in Danville Illinois playing in the consolation bracket of the NJCAA National Tournament on Friday (March 22). They were the 10^th seed playing the 9^th seeded Pima Community College out of Arizona in an elimination game.

It was a back and forth start to the game before Pima used a run to stretch their lead out. They went into the halftime break up 40-33. The second half was much of the same and the Skipper's deficit hung around 10. SC4 then went on a 16-3 run to take a 3-point lead. After a couple minutes of back and forth they pushed the lead to and never gave it up. They would win the game 80-70.

As has been the case the entire tournament, Isaiah Jones was the catalyst. He had a monster game, finishing with 31 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 blocks. La'Tavius Vaughter scored 14 and had 10 rebounds to complete the double-double. Tyler Hamilton added in 14 points as well.

With this win the Skippers advance to the 7^th place game where they will see conference foe Macomb Community College for the 3^rd time this season.
