Port Huron, MI – The Skippers hosted Schoolcraft College in the first round of the NJCAA Great Lakes District C Tournament on Tuesday (March 5). This is the teams third meeting of the season and second in a week as SC4 finished the regular season at Schoolcraft College.

The first half was a back-and-forth affair with the Skippers finding a 35-32 edge when the first 20-minutes were up. In the second half SC4 the Skippers made their usual run and stretched their lead out a little bit. SC4 would win the game 77-65.

Sophomore point guard Tyler Hamilton lead the Skippers charge scoring 27 points. Zaveon Little added 17 points and 7 rebounds. La'Tavius Vaughter scored 11 and had 8 boards. Off the bench Zahki Fallen contributed 11 points.

With this win the Skippers will advance to the semifinals for a revenge game Mid Michigan College. SC4 lost the first game of the season at Mid Michigan. The game will be played at Mott Community College and Friday (March 7) at 11:00 AM.
