Grayling, MI – The Skippers took the trip up to Kirtland Community College for an Eastern Conference bowling match on Friday (Jan. 19)
The event included Mid Michigan College, Kirtland Community College and St. Clair County Community College.
The Skippers finished with a team series of 2627 (940, 775, 912) which was good enough for 3rd place at the event. Sophomore Skylar Brohl led the Skippers bowling a series of 562 (179, 152, 231). Next up was Cameron Schomburg who bowled a 530 series (178, 158, 194). Colby Irwin was the 3rd best bowler for SC4 at the event. He finished with 503 pins (177, 147, 179). Next up was Will Fisher who knocked over 498 pins (217, ,133, 148). Gabe Hollenbeck rolled a 465 (189, 145, 131), Elliot Purdy a 434 (103, 171, 160), and Paul Camire bowled a 423 (137, 147, 139).
The Skippers next match will be a home match at the Bowl-O-Drome in Port Huron, MI on Friday, Jan. 26. The match will start at 11:00 AM.
