Men's Bowling: Three Skippers Qualify for NJCAA National Championship

Lansing, MI – The SC4 bowling teams traveled to Royal Scot Bowling Center in Lansing to compete in the NJCAA Region 12 Bowling Championship on Friday (2/16).

The team finished 4th at the event combining for 8401 pins. This score is a combination of their doubles score (2218), singles score (2876), team scores (936, 880) and their Baker's scores (386, 332, 384, 389).

Freshman Colby Irwin had a solid day, finishing 6th overall in the singles portion after bowling a 642 (231, 209, 202) series. His performance propelled him to a 12th finish in the All-Events Championship with a score of 1525.

Aiden Briguglio finished the highest of the Skippers on the All-Events leaderboard at the 8th spot bowling a 1556. Cameron Schomburg also found his name on the list at 11 after knocking over 1529 total pins on the day.

After the event was over and the dust had settled, Aiden Briguglio, Cameron Schomburg, and Colby Irwin all qualified for the NJCAA Men's Bowling National Championship. The championship is being held in Lansing, MI at the Royal Scot Bowling Center.
