The second coaches poll has come out for the NJCAA and the Skipper Men remain ranked nationally. This week they come in at number 11, a few slots below their initial ranking of 8th in the nation. 

The Skippers haven't been in action since the Raider Invitational at Oakland Community College on September 29th. At that meet it was truly a team performance as they finished in 2nd place due to a 6th place tie breaker. From top to botom the Skippers competed, finishing the meet with 5 season bests and 4 personal records. Leading the Skippers was the duo of Travis Katz and Ethan McCombs as they finished fourth and seventh respectively. Travis Katz' time was good for a five-second personal record. Teammates Mason Wildie and Ben Rodriguez both achieved massive personal records of 26 seconds and 33 seconds respectively. 

The Skippers will be back in action this Friday, October 14th as they travel to Peoria, IL to compete in the Bradley Pink Invitational.
