The men were led by Glen Davis, who placed 11th out of 158 runners with a time of 25:52.7, breaking SC4's school record by 45 seconds. "I feel really good about the race and gained a lot of confidence getting another 8k in, especially competing at our regional course with the Lansing boys. I'm excited about breaking the school record as well. I've manifested breaking a record since I started running and wasn't able to pull it off in high school, so it feels great to be able to get a record at the collegiate level," Davis stated after the race. Finishing second for the Skippers was Matt LaFreniere setting a personal record by 2:10 in a time of 27:38.7, ranking him 8th on the SC4 All Time list. Running 3rd was Mike Paoletti running 28:06.7 with Lance Kowalski not far behind as the team's 4th runner with a time of 28:39.0. Kowalski set a personal record by 1:15. Rounding out the top 5 was Logan Cooper, who debuted in the 8k distance, finishing in 28:41.2. Mason Wildie (30:15.2), Joe Edgemon (31:28.5) and Devin Dudley (34:01.0) completed the men's team. Wildie ran a season best by 12 seconds, Edgemon set a personal record by 2:25 and Dudley debuted in the 8k distance. 

The Skippers return to action Saturday, September 23rd at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, NY.
