Skippers Split Holiday Tournament

WBB vs. Mid Michigan

SC4 vs. GRCC | Dec. 3

Your SC4 Skips started off the Skippers Holiday Tournament strong, with a close hard fought victory of 58-56 over the Raiders of Grand Rapids Community College. It was the Skipper's offense and defense that led them to this close, yet well deserved win.

SC4's offense was led by Brooklyn Taylor who pushed past the Raiders tough defense with a total of 18 points. Mia Jansen did her job coming off the bench hot with a total of 13 points shooting 3-6. The Skips defense caused chaos for the Raiders offense by forcing 11 turnovers. Kayla Rossen got things done with a total of 10 rebounds.

The Raider's Grace Lodes had herself a great game leading her team with 23 total points and 11 rebounds. Sally Merrill played great defense against SC4 with 2 steals, 1 block, and 9 rebounds. Despite this great defense by the Raiders, it was not enough to stop the Skippers from coming out on top.

SC4 looks to continue this win streak in their next game in our Skipper Holiday Tournament against the Lakers of Mid-Michigan Community College this Saturday, December 4th.
