Your Skippers bounced back nicely with a 80-59 victory over Alpena CC. It was the three-point shot that really made the difference as the Skippers shot 41 percent from deep while Alpena shot 17 percent. The Skips could not miss from downtown.

Brooklyn Taylor led the Skippers with 18 points tagging along 7 assists. Jenna Holzberger was unconscious from downtown as she made 3 of 4 attempts. She finished the night with 15 points, 2 assists and 2 steals. Christina Bohm had an impressive performance as she scored 14 points with 4 rebounds, 4 blocks, a steal and an assist.

Alpena's Jade Schultz did everything she could to get Alpena back into the game, her team fell short but that's nothing to take away from her spectacular performance. She scored 29 on 12 of 17 shooting tagging along 8 rebounds. Another notable performance for alpena was nukber 21 Madison Wilkinson. She scored 10 points on an efficient 2-4 shooting. Molli Grind also had a nice performance with 6 points and 9 rebounds.

SC4 responded perfectly following a tough loss to Muskegon CC. The Skippers will play a familiar foe of Macomb CC on Wednesday, January 5th. Tip-off will be at 5:30 PM EST.
