The SC4 Women's basketball team beat Glen Oaks Community College on Monday afternoon by a final of 77-69. The victory marks the fourth consecutive win for the Skippers. The Skippers led throughout as they outscored the Vikings in every quarter besides the fourth. At the end of the first quarter SC4 led 22-14, at the end of the first half their lead grew to 15. 

The second half saw the Vikings battle back as they were down by as much as 23 points and brought it within a 10-point game. The Skippers were aided mightily by a strong bench performance. The Skippers bench totaled 33 points, significantly higher than the 6 bench points the Vikings were provided with. The game saw the Vikings nearly double the Skippers point total inside the paint. The Skippers were helped by a dazzling 43.8% shooting from beyond the arc, going 14-32 from long range. On the day the Skippers were more efficient with their shooting in every category as they shot a higher percentage from the field and free throw line with percentages of 49.1 % and 91.7% respectively. 

Leading the way offensively for the Skippers were Sarah Lohr and Dareonna Little who finished with 15 and 16 points respectively. All Lohr's scoring came off 3-point shooting as she finished 5-8 from beyond the arc. Little finished her day with 11 rebounds as well, notching yet another double-double. Teammate Christina Bohm narrowly missed a double-double of her own as she finished with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Karmyn Lowry was efficient in her time as she scored 10 points in only 7 minutes. Morgan McConnell led the team in assists as she finished with 9 assists and chipped in 6 points. 

The Skippers will take a break for the holidays and will be back in action on January 7th when they host the Jayhawks of Muskegon Community College in the SC4 Fieldhouse.
