Centreville, MI – The Skippers traveled to the west side of the state to take on the Glen Oaks Vikings on Monday (12/18) afternoon.

The women's team survived a close game, winning 59-53. They overcame a tough start to take a 12-point lead into halftime. They extended that lead to 21 early in the second half before letting the Vikings back into the game. Amanda Kitchen led all scorers with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Arlonna Twitty added in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Madelyn Smith also had 4 takeways.

This win brings the Skippers win streak to 9 games and a 9-1 record on the season.

The Skippers will play Lake Michigan College on the road Wednesday (12/20) at 6:00 PM before heading on Christmas break.
