Benton Harbor, MI – The Skippers took on the Lake Michigan RedHawks on the way home from a trip to Chicago.

The Skippers stormed out to an early lead before Lake Michigan came back and took the lead. After that point it was all SC4, using a 20-6 second quarter to get back in front, and they never looked back. The game finished in a 67-46 Skippers victory to take with them into break. Bailey Gormley paced the Skippers with a double-double, scoring 15 points with 10 rebounds, she also added 4 steals. Karmyn Lowry dumped in 14 with 4 steals while Amanda Kitchen also tallied a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Madelyn Smith had a team high 9 steals to go along with her 9 points.

With this win the Skippers improve to 10-1 on the season and they are in the middle of a 10-game winning streak.

Their next game will be after Christmas when they take on North Central Michigan at home on Saturday, Dec. 30 at 1:00 PM.
