Macomb, MI – The Skippers traveled down to Macomb to play a game against the Macomb Community College Monarchs, looking to bounce back following their first loss since November.

SC4 dominated the glass to get the job done in this one. They outrebounded Macomb 48-36 including a staggering 21 offensive rebounds in route to a 77-62 victory over a conference foe.

Amanda Kitchen recorded a double-double, leading the Skippers with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Arlonna Twitty dumped in 19 points with 4 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. Karmyn Lowry also contributed 11 points and 7 boards to the effort. Madelyn Smith continued her stellar defense with 5 steals.

This win improved the Skippers record to 16-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play.

SC4 will head to Wayne County Community College on Saturday (Jan. 27) at 1:00 PM before returning home the following Saturday for a matchup against the Schoolcraft College Ocelots.
