Detroit, MI – SC4 traveled south to Detroit, MI to take on the Wayne County Community College Wildcats in a Saturday (Jan. 27) matinee event.

The Skippers were in control of the whole game and used a late run to stretch the lead in an 80-52 victory.

SC4 had three players tally double digit points. Sophomore point guard Arlonna Twitty led the Skippers with 19 points. She also added 5 boards, 6 assists, and 5 steals to the effort. Amanda Kitchen followed up her big game against Macomb with another one today scoring 17 points and bringing down 7 rebounds. Karmyn Lowry rounded out the double-digit scorers with 15 of her own.

This win improved the Skippers record to 17-2 overall and now 4-1 in conference play.

SC4 will take Wednesday off due to a cancelled game against henry Ford but they will be back at it when they host the Ocelots of Schoolcraft College on Saturday (Feb. 3) for a 1:00 PM tip. This game is part of the MCCAA Hunger Games competition. Each fan can receive free admission into the game with the donation of a non-perishable good.
