Port Huron, MI – The Skippers hosted Wayne County Community College on Wednesday (Feb. 21) night. SC4 honored their seven sophomores before the game.

The game wasn't much of a contest from the start. The Skippers jumped out to a 21-11 lead at the end of the first quarter and would expand on that lead with a 17-5 second quarter to take a 38-16 lead into halftime. SC4 would have almost as big a second half to cruise to a 70-43 victory.

Arlonna Twitty paced all scorers with 24 points. She also added in 5 steals. Amanda Kitchen scored 14 with 13 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. Off the bench Ava Grant contributed 10 points to the effort. Madelyn Smith had 4 steals.

With this win the Skippers move to 22-3 overall, 9-2 in the conference, and get one game closer to clinching the MCCAA Eastern Conference championship!

They will have an opportunity to do so when they travel to Schoolcraft college on Tuesday (Feb. 27) for the last regular season game of the year. The game will tip off at 5:30 PM.
