Port Huron, MI – The MCCAA released it's final basketball Player of the Week awards on Tuesday (March 5).

Sophomore point guard Arlonna Twitty was named the MCCAA Eastern Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week! This is the second time she has won the award, the first coming in week 10.

This award comes following a week where Twitty led the Skippers to two wins including one against Schoolcraft College that clinched the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Eastern Conference Championship and another in the semifinals of the MCCAA Championship.

Twitty averaged 13.7 points, 3 steals, and shot 47% from the field last week.

The Skippers are waiting in the semifinals of the National junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Great Lakes District C tournament. The tournament is being held at Mott Community College and SC4 will play at 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 7. They will play the winner of Muskegon Community College and Delta College.
