Detroit, MI – The Skippers traveled down to Wayne County Community College for a bowling match on Friday (Jan. 6).

The event included Mid Michigan College, Schoolcraft College, Wayne County Community College and St. Clair County Community College.

The Skippers finished with a team series of 1975 (665, 582, 728) which was good enough for 3^rd place. Sophia Santo bowled the high series for the event with a 537 (195, 148, 195).  Sophomore, Mackenzie Monier bowled the high game for the event knocking over 230 pins in her 3^rd game. She finished with a 518 series (151, 137, 230). Ashley Bales finished with 475 pins (190, 142, 143) and Elizabeth Hubbard finished with 445 (129, 155, 161).

The Skippers will be back in action on Friday (Jan. 12) at Muskegon Community College. The action starts at 11:00 AM.
