Women's Bowling: SC4 Takes 3rd at Mid Michigan College Event

Clare, MI – The SC4 women's bowling team traveled to Mid-Michigan to compete in their bowling invitational on Friday (Feb. 2).

The event included the host school Mid Michigan College, Kirtland Community College, Schoolcraft College, and St. Clair County Community College.

The Skippers finished with a team series of 1828 (616, 595, 617) and a total pin count of 2675 which placed them 3rd of 4 teams at the event. Sophomore Elizabeth Hubbard led the way for SC4 knocking over 512 (190, 180, 142) pins in her three rounds. Sophia Santo was next up for the Skippers rolling a 483 (149, 151, 183). Mackenzie Monier contributed 468 (144, 144, 180) pins to the SC4 effort and Ashley Bales added in 368 (133, 120, 115).

The next time the Skippers will hit the lanes will be Friday, February 9th at the MCCAA Meet hosted by Schoolcraft College. The action will kick off at 9:00 AM.
