Livonia, MI – The SC4 bowling teams traveled to Meri-Bowl Lanes to compete in the MCCAA Bowling Championship on Friday (2/9). The event was hosted by Schoolcraft College.

The Skippers duo of Sophia Santo and Mackenzie Monier took home the MCCAA Women's Bowling Doubles Championship! The two combined to knock over 1073 pins. Santo led the way with 581 (203, 181, 197) and Monier added 492 (156, 158, 178).

Both girls have had an impressive season. In her freshman year Sophia took home both the Eastern Conference Bowler of the Year and Freshman of the Year awards while also being named All-Conference. For her own work this season Mackenzie was named to the MCCAA Eastern Conference All-Conference Team!

The team will be back competing on Friday, February 16 in Lansing, MI for the NJCAA Region 12 Championships looking to qualify for the NJCAA National Championships.
