Lansing, MI – Three individuals from the SC4 women's bowling team competed in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Bowling National Championship Thursday through Saturday (Feb. 29 – March 2).

The individuals were: Ashley Bales, Sophia Santo, and Mackenzie Monier.

The Skippers found success competing agasisnt the best bowlers in the country. The doubles team of Sophia Santo and Mackenzie Monier finished 6^th at the event, bowling a 1040 (334, 379, 327). The Skippers also placed well in the all-event standings as well. Mackenzie Monier finished 5^th in the country which earned her the title of All-American, the most prestigious athletic award! Her doubles partner Sophia Santo finished 18^th in the nation as a freshman and will be looking to top that next year, while sophomore Ashley Bales finished 52^nd in her last competition with SC4.
