Women's Bowling: Mackenzie Monier Named All-American

Port Huron, MI – Sophomore bowler Mackenzie Monier was named a National Junior Colege Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American for her performance at the national championship this past weekend (Feb. 29 - March 2).

This award comes following a 5th place finish in the country by Mackenzie at the national championship hosted at Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing, MI. The top 8 bowlers at the tournament receive All-American honors.
Being named an All-American is the top athletic honor a student athlete could earn. It signifies that Monier was one of the best bowlers in the country this season!

Mackenzie has had a successful sophomore season for the Skippers. She qualified to the national championship because of an NCAA Region 12 All-Region performance where her and teammate Sophia Santo won the doubles championship! The duo also won the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) doubles championship, and finished 5th at nationals.

Monier is the first NJCAA Bowling All-American in school history.

Congratulations on a special season Mackenzie!
