Muskegon, MI – The SC4 wrestling team traveled over to Muskegon, MI on Saturday (12/16) to wrestle in the MCCAA duals championship.
A day of wrestling yielded a 6th place finish for the Skippers.
The skippers had five wrestlers participate in the event. In the 125 class was freshman Stephen Hertzfeld who went 2-3 on the day. Aaron Evely competed in the 149 class and was 4-1 today. Sophomore La'Ron Ruffin wrestled 4 times and won 3 of them in the 157 class. Ashton Light won all 5 of his matches today in the 184 class and heavyweight (285) Leroy Burns ended 1-3.
The next time the Skippers will hit the mats to compete is Saturday, January 20 at Harper College for the Harper Open.
