The SC4 Skippers hosted the Jackson College Jets at the SC4 Soccer field in Marysville, MI on Sunday, October 10th. The Skipper's offensive player of the game was Christina LaBudie. 

Numbers 

Freshmen Kacey Szczepkowski played keeper for a total of 110 minutes and had a total of eight saves.

Christina LaBudie had three shots on goal and one goal that was unassisted.

Joslyn Williams and Hannah Schuchard each had two shots on goal.

Kylee Crane had one shot on goal.

Jets had shots on goals from Tina Covic, Anna Hosmer, Mackenzie Stevens, Olivia McKellar, Lily Moore, Emily Rodenhouse, and Leah Postema.

How it Happened

At 37:58 minutes into the game, Christina LaBudie scored goal number one for the Skippers off of a free-kick that went over the goalie's head. The Skippers managed to keep the lead until 89:45th minute of the game when a corner kick assist from Emily Rodenhouse to Anna Hosmer for a Jets goal and tie the game 1-1. 

After two 10:00 minute overtimes, the score remained 1-1. The game ended in a tie Skippers 1 - Jets 1.

The Skippers will be traveling to Lakeland Community College on Friday, October 15th for their first match-up this season against the Lakers. The kick-off is scheduled for 2pm.
