The SC4 Soccer team hosted Lakeland Community College at the SC4 Soccer Field in Marysville, MI on August 19, 2023. The team secured their first win of the season with a 3-0 victory. Head Coach Todd Stank shared that today's win was the result of a great team effort. "A great team effort today resulting in a positive start to the season. The players worked hard for 90 minutes and earned their first shut out. Looking to build on and carry that momentum into out next match Wednesday," say Coach Stank.

Goals were scored by scored by freshmen Kayla Swiecicki, Hailey Dawson and Jessica Peters. Freshmen Kayla Swiecicki shared her thoughts with us on getting her first goal as a skipper, "Getting my first goal as a skipper is extremely exciting, and it feels good that I have began this new journey in my athletic career here at SC4."

The team will host Jackson College on Wednesday August 23 at 4pm at the SC4 Soccer Field.
