The SC4 Skippers hosted the Jackson College Jets on August 23, 2023, at the SC4 Soccr Field in Marysville, MI. The team fell to the Jets 1-2 in a very hard-fought battle. The one goal scored was by freshmen Jessica Peters.

"Skippers Soccer battled hard today against Jackson. Proud of the team effort and collective effort. Giving up two early goals in the first half, they collected themselves working back into the game. Jessica Peters with the goal assisted by Melanie Bigger. It's unfortunate we were unable to get the second goal, they certainly worked hard enough to earn it," says Head Coach Todd Stank. This marks Jessica's second goal of the season for the young freshmen.

The next contest for the team will be on Tuesday August 29, 2023, at 4pm at the SC4 Soccer Field vs Lake Michigan College.
