Skippers Soccer Has Four Players Honored on MCCAA All-Conference Teams

PORT HURON, MI- The St. Clair County Community College Soccer team had four players earn spots on the MCCAA All-Conference teams. Jessica Peters was named to the First Team All-MCCAA and MCCAA All-Freshman team. Grace Schroll was named Second Team All-MCCAA with Hailey Dawson and Bella Marsh earning Honorable Mention honors.

Jessica Peters was unstoppable in her freshman year for the Skippers. She led the MCCAA with 25 goals, finishing second in the conference with 55 points all in 20 games. After this season she holds SC4 records for goals, points, shots, and shots on goal for a single season, and goals, shots, and shots on goal for a career as well as multiple single game records.

Grace Schroll was the anchor for SC4 defense. As a freshman, she played in all 20 games, starting 19 of them.  

Hailey Dawson was an important piece to the Skippers success this year. She did a little bit of everything, playing strong defense as well as pouring in 3 goals, a team leading and SC4 single season record 9 assists, and 15 total points.  

Bella Marsh was a wall inside the pipes as the goalkeeper for SC4. Her 156 saves and .817 save percentage were both good for second place in the MCCAA and college single season records, setting the shutouts record as well.  Marsh also finished as the career leader in minutes, saves, save percentage and shutouts.
