The SC4 Skipper's Volleyball team has been on fire to start the 2022 campaign. Since their September 12th loss to Mott Community College the Skippers haven't been beat, winning 18 sets of a possible 19. Over a longer stretch, dating back to August 24th, the Skippers have won 14 of their last 15 contests. Aside from their loss to Mott CC, the Skippers have only dropped one set in conference play. Paving the way for the success this year has been Sophomore Christina Bohm, the feared and aggressive Outside hitter. Earlier in the season, Bohm was awarded for her efforts with MCCAA Eastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week, for the second time in her career. Samantha kent leads defensively on the team with Blocks Per Set at 1.06. She also leads the team in hitting percentage with an impressive .294. This combination of leaders has proven success with the team and the Skippers are hopeful for this continuation as they wrap up their 2022 Fall Season. 

At the helm for the Skippers is Coach Michelle McCulloch, who enters her fourth year as the head coach. The program has seen continued growth under McCulloch as the team is aiming for their first MCCAA Eastern Conference title since 2015. 

The Skippers welcome the Mott Community College Bears into the SC4 Fieldhouse this Wednesday, October 12th for a massive conference matchup between 1st place teams. Doors open at 6 pm and the battle begins at 7 pm. See you Wednesday night in your Skipper blue and yellow.
