Skippers hosted their first evet of the 2023-2024 season at the SC4 Fieldhouse with Lake Michigan College and Lansing Community College. The Skippers first took on Lake Michigan College at 4pm and fell 2-3 (24-26, 19-25, 25-19, 25-21, 12-15)
Next the team took on Lansing Community College in a five set battle. Skips were down 0-2 and battle back to tie the game 2-2, but ultimately fell 2-3 to the Stars. (14-25, 23-25, 25-12, 26-24, 8-15)
Skippers will travel to Wayne State on Saturday August 26, 2023, for a series of scrimmages with some top NCAA Division II talent.
