Skippers Sweep Day One of Owens Invitational

The SC4 Volleyball team traveled to Perrysburg, OH for the Owens Invitational.

Game 1 the team took on Hagerstown Community College and won 3-2. (23-25, 20-25, 25-16, 25-22, 15-13)

Game 2 of the day the team played another 5 set match. The Skippers dropped the first two sets but ultimately beat Lorain County Community College 3-2. (19-25, 25-27, 25-18, 25-18, 15-9)

Piper Clark was selected as player of the game in game 1 vs Hagerstown. "I think we are starting to finally mesh together and today it really showed, my goal going into tomorrow is coming home with another win," says Piper Clark.

Head Coach Michelle McCulloch shared, "we worked ourselves out of some deficits today and I'm proud that we finished strong. Tomorrow our goal is to start stronger."
