The Skippers Volleyball team played their MCCAA home opener at the SC4 Fieldhouse on September 13, 2023. The match started at 7pm and ended in a quick 3 sets win for the Skippers!

Set scores were (25-16, 25-18, 25-13)

The player of the game went to Morgan Moore. Morgan had 24 assists, 14 digs and 4 service points. "Last night's win felt good for us! we came in with a plan and executed it well which led us to a win. we have lots of work to do but we're just getting started," says Moore.

Morgan also shared with us what her favorite part about being on the SC4 volleyball team was as well "the culture coach (Michelle McCulloch) has created within this program makes playing so much fun. We have to put in a lot of work to earn our wins and she's training us to get there, no matter what it takes. The atmosphere is also great! Stepping on to the court and hearing the fans cheer and seeing how involved they are makes my love for this sport grow. I wouldn't be the person I am without this program," says Moore.

The Skippers host a quad match this Saturday, September 16th starting at 10:00 AM.
