Volleyball traveled to Henry Ford College to battle the Hawks in a MCCAA Eastern Confernece matchup. The Skips walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Hawks! This is the 6th time the team has been able to secure a 3-0 win this season. The set scores were 26-24, 25-15, 25-10.
Player of the game went to Rachel Dunavant who shared her thoughts on the game, "Overall it was a great learning experience for everyone. We walked into the gym expecting it was going to be a laid-back easy game for us. We quickly learned that every game in this league matters and that we can't take a day off and expect to automatically win. We were still able to take care of business and are going to be working hard for the rest of the week."
Head Coach Michelle McCulloch said, "We were happy to come home tonight with a win in three. We have a lot of work to do and we're looking forward to getting back at it the rest of the week."
The Skippers are back in action on Monday, September 25 at the SC4 Fieldhouse vs Jackson College for a 7:00 PM start time.
