PORT HURON, MI- St. Clair County Community College freshman outside hitter Piper Clark was named MCCAA Eastern Conference Player of the Year! Piper was also named MCCAA Eastern Conference Freshman of the Year and to the First Team and All-Freshman Team as well. This is the second year in a row the Skippers have taken home the Player of the Year award with Christina Boehm winning it last year.

The Richmond native was a force for the Skippers during the 2023 season. She tallied 325 kills which was good for 4^th in the entire MCCAA. She also added in 327 digs which ranked 14^th. On top of that she added in 23 assists and 32 block, 5 of them being solo blocks.

On top of being named Eastern Conference Player of the Year Clark was also named Freshman of the Year and to the MCCAA team, Eastern Conference First Team, and Eastern Conference All-Freshman Team.
