PORT HURON, Mich. — The No. 8-ranked St. Clair County Community College women's basketball team opened the 2025-26 season with a statement win, rolling past Lakeland Community College 90-52 on the road.
Sophomore standout Sarrinah Ajami led the charge with a monster performance, dropping 27 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to record a double-double. Iliana Williams added 18 points, helping the Skippers control the game from start to finish.
SC4's high-energy defense and fast-paced offense overwhelmed Lakeland, setting the tone for what looks to be a promising season for the nationally ranked squad.
The Skippers return to action at home on Tuesday, November 4 at 6 p.m. when they host Lambton College. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team as they look to build on their early momentum.
