Marysville, MI - The Skippers Soccer team had two individuals named to the NJCAA Region XII Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team. Sisters Jessica and Jenna Peters received the awards.

Jenna Peters played the entire 110 minutes in the region semifinal game, that included two overtimes, against Kellogg CC. She provided stellar defense in the effort. Peters also connected on her only kick in the penalty kick shootout.

Jessica Peters played in all but 2 minutes of the semifinal game against the Bruins. She accounted for the Skippers entire offensive attack. Peters scored 2 goals on 7 shots, 5 of the on goal in her only tournament game.

Unfortunately, the Skippers were downed by Kellogg CC in the semifinals, 6-5 in a penalty kick shootout after finishing regulation and 2 overtime periods tied 2-2.
