Port Huron, MI – The NJCAA released it's week 7 Player of the Week awards on Wednesday (Jan. 17).

Sophomore guard Isaiah Jones earned this week's NJCAA DII Men's Basketball Player of the Week Award!

Jones earned the award after a stellar game against his hometown Mott Community College Bears. Isaiah led Skippers to victory with a 24-point, 10 rebound double-double. The Skippers are off to a 1-0 start in conference play.

Along with the national award, Isaiah was named the MCCAA Eastern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week as well!

This week the Skippers play 2 games. The first on Wednesday (Jan. 17) when they take on Oakland Community College at the SC4 Fieldhouse at 7:30 PM before heading back on the road to take on the Jackson College Jets on Saturday (Jan. 20) at 3:00 PM.
